Looking for the Best Deal on Internet Service
I have finally gotten my first place on my own. Of course when I was in college I had three different apartments near the campus and a little house. I shared all of them with one or two roommates. That is terrific when you have very little money and I would get a roommate here if I had not had such a bad end to the last partnership I had. Of course you need to get power and the internet. That is what I am looking at right now. I am checking out some sites in the hope that I am going to be able to get a really good deal on a decent internet connection.
Obviously you have to compromise on quality if you want to get the best price that is possible, but I am looking to get a decent connection at a fair price. For example I had a cable modem at my last apartment. It was a good service for the most part, aside from the fact that it was probably twice as expensive as it should have been. That is not so big of a deal when you are splitting the cost two or three ways, which was how we were doing it obviously. If you have to pay the whole cost of a cable internet connection, that makes it a lot more painful when you have to open the bill at the end of the month. For the short term I am thinking that I need to save some money, because I want to be able to rebuild my emergency fund. I am one of those people who always feels better if they have some money put aside for a rainy day. Right now the truth is that I just do not have much in the bank.
